ALI Restatement Third

JoanShear | 16 February, 2006 15:05

Question:

Has the following ever become a final draft, or has the Third edition of this Restatement ever been approved? Restatement (Third) of Agency section 1.01 (Tentative Draft No. 1, 2000).

Answer:

According to the American Law Institute, the Restatement Third of Agency is still in development. However, according to the ALI, Tentative Draft No. 2 supersedes Tentative Draft No. 1. For more information on the status of these volumes see http://www.ali.org/ali/Agency.htm. We have both Tentative Drafts in our collection.

Joan, You so totally rock! This doesn't have scones and tea, but it gets collaboration off the ground. What a great idea! Grand Rounds in Cyberspace. Good for you. My reference staff found it and made the announcement -- which is wonderful. I shall show it to my Advanced Legal Research class this week! And OOTJ will link if you allow! Law Librarian Rock Star!
